My wife and I have two kids - To be honest, we rarely have the energy to go out. But when we do we like to visit nice places. Pescara is one of our favorites in Rochester. The dinner entrees there range between $25 and $40, it's easy to rack up a nice bill, but that's nothing compared to the average prices at Minnesota's most expensive restaurant.

The spendiest place in Minnesota is Travail Kitchen in Robinsdale. According to 24/7 Wall Street the average entree price there is... $92.38!

So what makes them special? On their website they explain: Travail serves an ever evolving tasting menu of 20+ courses with plates and ingredients changing by season and product availability. Our team of chefs are also your servers, and everyone takes part in developing the menu. We have an open kitchen, so you'll get a good look at the chefs hard at work plating and preparing each course. We try to make great food in a fun environment, so be prepared to get out of your seat and interact with your food in a whole new way.

Have you ever been? Would you drop that kind of cash on a date night?

For what it's worth, Travail has excellent reviews on Yelp.
