AM Minnesota Today Ed Usset

My guest on today's AM Minnesota Program will be Ed Usset from the University of Minnesota's  Center For Farm Financial Management. Ed is the grain marketing specialist and has presented many seminars on Winning the Marketing Game. He also teaches a marketing class every fall for upper level undergraduate students. For most of the 1980's Ed was a trader in the pit at the Minneapolis Grain Exchange where he bought wheat for the milling industry in Minnesota.

I always enjoy talking markets with Ed. He is able to explain markets and concepts in plain English we can understand. He has also published a couple books on grain marketing. The last one Grain Marketing is Simple it's just not easy. In addition on the Center For Farm Financial Management web site Ed has posted pre-harvest and post-harvest marketing plans for corn and soybeans. Many farmers myself included use Ed's marketing plans as a base for their marketing plans.
