The Cheese Cave in Faribault is Closing its Doors
The Cheese Cave has been a staple in Faribault for the past 11 years and unfortunately, they have made the tough decision to close their doors for good. They made the sad announcement earlier today on their Facebook page.
Personally, I am really sad to see The Cheese Cave go. Of course, their cheese is so delicious! But the food they serve in general at the restaurant is really good and the people are very nice every time I have gone.
In their announcement on Facebook, they say their doors will permanently close on May 16th. Until then you can still order for curbside pick-up. To do so, just call them at (507) 334-398 or you can shop online on their website. If you have a gift card that still has money on it, they can help you with your final purchase before they close.
Also in their post, they address the fact that they were "already walking a fine line prior to COVID-19" and because no one knows how long this will go, when things will be able to go back to normal, they had to make the tough call.
Take a look at the announcement from their Facebook page:
You can take a look at their latest deals that you can order for curbside pick-up before the 16th on their website.
