We Minnesotans are known for our ability to consume an astronomical amount of alcohol (it must be our Irish roots.) It’s kind of ingrained into our culture. Take it from someone who isn’t native to the state.

I’m from Kentucky, where half the populations regards alcoholic consumption as blasphemy. When I moved here I was thrilled when I realized that you’re basically considered a square if you don’t at least drink socially.

I’m proud to call Minnesota home now. It should come as no surprise that the land of 10,000 lakes is home to some of the best craft beer in the country.
