It started out looking like a playoff game in Waterville on Thursday as the Cardinals and Buccaneers went scoreless until the 3rd Inning. Nicole Menard lead off the Cardinal 3rd with a double, Tess Glenzinsk got a walk and the Cards went on to put 4 on the board. WEM answered with a run in the bottom of the 3rd.

A 35-year-old Waterville man was killed while riding a motorcycle on Monday night about 11:45PM in the 400 block of Lind Street. The victim was identified as Charles Stoffel.
