Scarlets Take Down Falcons

Overall the Faribault Falcons gave a fairly good defensive effort on Friday night against the Mankato West Scarlets, but some poor shooting made it impossible to get the win as the Scarlets won 62-41.

It was 27-13 Mankato West at the half. And when the falcons are going up against people that are 6'5 and 6'10 it does make rebounding difficult. Plus it was hard to stop Michael Sathoff(the 6'10 kid) from getting in underneath the basket and reaching up and dropping some shots in. 11 guys got in for the Falcons. Joe Palmer and Ben Malmanger each had seven to lead the scoring.

The State Farm Insurance Agents of Faribault Players of the game were Joe Palmer, Jack Grevious and Alex Gardner.

Faribault faces a 13-2 Waseca team at home Tuesday. We will have the Girls game at Waseca on KQCL 95.9 FM starting about 7:15PM
