Rochester’s Gas Prices Fall to $2 a Gallon
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The price for a gallon of regular gasoline in Rochester has fallen to $2.00.
Prices have been slowly falling in recent weeks and there are several cities around Minnesota that had prices below two bucks a gallon Monday morning, including Red Wing.
According to the Minnesota GasBuddy website, this is the lowest price for gas in the state since 2016.
Will these lower prices linger?
Much of this latest decrease is due to a large drop in the price of crude oil caused by abundant supplies and other reasons. Some industry experts expect higher prices in 2019.
