The chase began after a Rochester police officer saw him with run a red light and nearly causing multiple collisions by stopping in the middle of a busy intersection.

There have been 4 people killed the motorcycle crashes in Olmsted County during the past 3 weeks.

He is one of four Olmsted County residents to die in crashes involving motorcycles in less than a week.

2 other men charged in the case are scheduled to stand trial later this year.

The reservoir along the Zumbro River in northern Olmsted County and southern Wabasha County was listed as impaired in 2002 by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA).

The Pine Island Fire Department says emergency responders were called to the crash scene shortly after 8:00 Tuesday night.

A warrant was issued for his arrest in April 2023 after he skipped a court hearing in the sexual assault case.

The charges indicate the incident stemmed from a landscaping job at the Rochester man's home a few months earlier.

A gun was also found during a search of his vehicle following a routine traffic stop.

The recommendations are scheduled to be presented to the Rochester School Board on June 9.
