Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester woman was hurt in a traffic wreck in rural Olmsted County during Wednesday’s snowy morning commute.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Dorothy Loutfi was on Highway 52 when it left the slippery roadway, struck the median barrier, went back onto the road and collided with a car.

She was taken to St. Marys Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The other driver wasn’t hurt. He was identified as 61-year-old Thomas Kraus of Owatonna.

The wreck happened near Simpson Rd around 8:30 AM and was one of several reported Wednesday morning as snow was affecting roads across southeast Minnesota.
