Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man is headed to prison for holding a knife to another man's neck.

30-year-old Yol Chadack pleaded guilty last August to a second-degree assault charge and was sentenced to just under two years in prison. He was given credit for the 162 days he has spent in jail and was ordered to pay about $500 dollars in restitution to the victim.

Chadack was arrested last June after police were called to the Meadow Park Apartments in southeast Rochester to deal with reports of an intoxicated man with a knife trying to start fights. They found a 36-year-old man with a small cut on his neck, who told the officers the wound occurred while Chadack was holding a knife against his throat and threatened to cut him.

Chadack was previously arrested following an incident last April at a Rochester convenience store. In that case, he was accused of holding a gas nozzle with one hand and a cigarette lighter in the other while, according to the police report, making threats to "blow this place up."
