The River Hills Mall in Mankato has announced they will be reopening their doors on Monday the 18th. This comes after Governor Walz announced he will be allowing the Stay at Home order to expire on Monday. This allows businesses, like the River Hills Mall, to reopen as long as they can follow social distancing guidelines.

Andrew Wilke is the general manager of River Hills Mall. He spoke with Kelsey Barchenger of KEYC about what they're doing to make sure customers and staff are safe and also follow the social distancing guidelines. He said there will be multiple hand sanitizer stations, "touch-free interactions, frequent and intense cleanings," and directions for proper social distancing.

The news of River Hills Mall reopening comes shortly after the Mall of America announced they plan to reopen on June 1st. You can check out more information about the Mall of America reopening date HERE.

Do you plan on going out shopping once many stores and malls reopen on Monday? For me personally, I'm going to continue to avoid going out shopping. It just makes me a little nervous still to be out with so many people. I'll probably go to a store if there's something I need but I don't plan to go browse like I like to do. I think I'm going to wait a little longer before heading out to the stores to browse. What about you?
