The timeline of the investigations is from November 25, 2020 through December 1, 2020.

Investigators, detectives and agents were assisted by members of the Cannon River Drug and Violent Offender Task Force.

Rice County Sheriff's Department Sergeant Nathan Budin states in a news release from the Sheriff's Office:

"The stolen property was from crimes in Rice County as well as numerous surrounding counties and even as far as the Brainerd area.  The recovered property was valued at well over $35,000."

"Troy Cook and Angela Degrood, both of Faribault, have been arrested in (alleged) connection to these crimes.  This investigation is still ongoing.  Investigators and detectives are hoping to recover more stolen property and charge others who were involved."

Troy Dunn is quoted, "I am proud of the tenacity and hard work done by the detectives, investigators and agents in this case.  These two individuals wreaked havoc not only in Rice County but numerous other counties across the state.  They not only took people's property, but instilled fear in families because they took away their feeling of safety and security in their homes and businesses."
