Plea Deal For Pine Island Man in Major Theft Case
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Pine Island man has entered into an agreement to settle some of the charges filed against him after large quantities of stolen property were found on his property and at a storage business last year. The items included a skid loader, a forklift, trailers, tires and other property valued in the tens of thousands of dollars.
39-year-old Jason Krukow has admitted to one felony count and a gross misdemeanor count of possession of stolen property in Olmsted County Court connected to the discovery of stolen items in a rented storage locker. Four other felony counts of the same crime were dismissed through the plea deal. Court records indicate Krukow still faces seven felony charges in Goodhue County, including multiple counts of receiving stolen property and drug possession.
He is scheduled to be sentenced for his convictions in Olmsted County on October 24th.
