The Faribault Police Department sent out a notice yesterday to the public of a predatory offender moving into the community. 36-year-old Clinton Albert Juring will be moving to the  400 block of 4th Avenue Northwest in Faribault on June 3rd when he is released.

Juring was according to the release "convicted of Criminal Sexual Conduct or another offense that requires registration with law enforcement pursuant to Minnesota Statues 243.166 or 243.167." Juring physically assaulted a toddler while holding the toddler and an adult female against their will. Juring was convicted of having contact with the adult woman which included penetration.

The Faribault Police Department's weekly publication, The Point After states that "Juring has lived in the community previously, and had been assigned as a Level 2 offender. However, due to continued non-sexual criminal activity and new charges, his risk level was elevated to a Level 3 predatory offender."

Juring will not be under supervision after being released as his sentence will be expired.

According to the Faribault Police Department release, the "notification is not intended to increase fear but rather raise awareness. Law enforcement believes that an informed public is a safer public.
