United South Central represents the Gopher Conference in the MSHSL Section 2A fastpitch softball tournament which begins Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

The Rebels (17-1) only loss came against Class AA top ranked Randolph.  USC hosts Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda at 5:00 p.m.  The winner plays either #7 Cleveland (8-11) or #10 Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey (7-12) at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2024.

Top seeding went to New Ulm Cathedral (17-1) with their only loss against Windom by a 7-3 score.  The Greyhounds entertain Martin Luther/Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Truman (1-17) 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

#3 seed Martin County West (10-6) tangles with #14 Glenville-Emmons/Alden-Conger (3-12) with the winner facing either #6 Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (7-10) or #11 Madelia (8-11) on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the high seed.

New Ulm Cathedral was the Tomahawk Conference Champions and if they win would host either #9 Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove (7-9) or #8 Sleepy Eye St. Mary's (7-11)

#4 Springfield (12-7) has #13 Minnesota Valley Lutheran (6-11) come to Tigers country Tuesday while #5 Sleepy Eye (14-5) hosts #12 Nicollet (6-12).  The winners square off Thursday at the high remaining seed.
