Latest Minnesota Basketball News Boys Rankings

The latest Minnesota Basketball News rankings were released on my birthday, Friday.

Rochester John Marshall jumped into the top 10 in Class 4A boys where Eden Prairie takes over the top spot.

Number one stays the same in the other three classes, Class 3A DeLaSalle, Class 2A Minnehaha Academy and Class 1A North Woods.

There are still four Big Nine Conference teams in the rankings.

The aforementioned John Marshall, three teams in Class 3A, #7 Mankato East, #8 Austin and #10 Northfield.

From the Hiawatha Valley League in Class 2A #8 Lake City, #15 Rochester Lourdes and #19 Byron.

Byron defeated Lourdes by double digits on Friday night.

Other southeastern Minnesota representatives include Class 3A, #12 Waseca, Class 2A, #3 Caledonia, #12 St. Charles.

In Class 1A Cleveland is #4, Spring Grove #15, LaCrescent #18 and Rushford-Peterson #19.

In Class 4A defending champion Apple Valley is #4 and Lakeville North #9.
