Being a dad can be a tough job. But according to a recent study being a dad in Minnesota is pretty good. So good in fact that only being a dad in Connecticut was better. So remember that this weekend when it comes to buying a gift for your dad for Father's Day this Sunday.

Wallethub.com released its results to a study it conducted about which of the US states were friendliest to working dads. In order to determine the best states for men who play a dual role of parent and provider, the website compared the 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia across 20 key indicators of friendliness toward working fathers. Some of the data collected had to deal with the average length of a work day for males, the cost of child-care, and the average health of men in that state.

Minnesota (72.44) finished in second place behind only Connecticut (72.58) in terms of what state is best for a working dad. Spots 3-5 were Massachusetts, Washington D.C., and Vermont.

You might be asking yourself where is the worst state to be a working dad? West Virginia.

So skip the tie this year, and treat dad to a day out on the lake catching fish, or head to the driving range. After all, it's pretty good to be a dad in Minnesota.
