But first, heat will return to the region.

The National Weather Service is forecasting temperatures will climb into the 90s Monday. And then comes the rain.

The NWS says:

“The remnants of Tropical Storm Cristobal track through the region Tuesday and Tuesday night, bringing an increasing likelihood for heavy rainfall. Rain amounts of 2 to 3 inches are expected for many areas, with locally higher amounts probable. Depending on where the heaviest rains occur, some flooding could develop into mid and late week.”
