Heat and Heavy Rain Forecast For Southeast Minnesota
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - It may be hundreds of miles away, but a tropical storm may affect southeast Minnesota this week.
But first, heat will return to the region.
The National Weather Service is forecasting temperatures will climb into the 90s Monday. And then comes the rain.
The NWS says:
“The remnants of Tropical Storm Cristobal track through the region Tuesday and Tuesday night, bringing an increasing likelihood for heavy rainfall. Rain amounts of 2 to 3 inches are expected for many areas, with locally higher amounts probable. Depending on where the heaviest rains occur, some flooding could develop into mid and late week.”
