Friday Crash Claims St. Charles Woman’s Life
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A St. Charles woman has died from the injuries she suffered in a traffic crash east of Rochester Friday afternoon.
The State Patrol has updated its report on the three-vehicle collision to indicate 40-year-old Robin Barclay died after she was rushed to St. Marys Hospital with critical injuries. She was driving an SUV east on Highway 14 that was rear-ended by another SUV when she slowed down to make a left turn onto Chester Avenue. The other driver was identified as 28-year-old Ariel Salvati of Kasson.
The rear-end collision pushed Barclay's vehicle into the path of a westbound pickup truck driven by 23-year-old Simon Byler of Rochester. He was transported to St. Marys Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while Salvati was not hurt in the crash, which was reported just before 5 PM.
