U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue at Farmfest

Late last week I received work from Farmfest Forum Coordinator Kent Thiesse that United States Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue will be at Farmfest on Wednesday august 7, 2019. Secretary Perdue will be part of the "U.S. House Ag Committee Listening Session on the Farm Economy" from 10:30 to 11:50 Am which is being hosted by House Ag Committee Chairmen Colin Peterson.

Secretary Perdue will be joining American Farm Bureau President Zippy Duvall and Minnesota Farm Bureau President Kevin Papp during the Minnesota Farm Bureau Pancake Breakfast on August 7, 2019 from 8:00 to 10:00 am.

Other members of Minnesota's Congressional Delegation that will be attending Farmfest include Senator Tina Smith, Congresswoman Angie Craig, Congressman Jim Hagedorn, Congressman Dean Phillips and Congressman Pete Stauber,

Farmfest will be held August 6th through 8, 2019 at the Gilfillan Estate near Red Wood Falls. It sure would be nice if Mother Nature cooperates and we have nice weather for Farmfest 2019. I hope to see you there!
