Faribault Superintendent of Schools on AM Minnesota
Faribault Public Schools Superintendent Todd Sesker stops by the KDHL AM Minnesota studio today at 9:30AM. We will get a facilities update.
The district is looking at upgrading facilities and much of the discussion has surrounded the possibility of constructing a field house for the community.
Faribault Mayor Kevin Voracek was on AM Minnesota last week and told us his endorsement of the project would depend on the size and location, which is not known at this time.
Last time Sesker was on our program he told us his preference would be to locate the facility at the high school where there would be plenty of parking.
I'll ask him about other facilities in the district, specifically the school buildings.
Are Lincoln, Jefferson and Roosevelt elementary schools in Faribault in good shape and adequate to handle the number of students they serve? How about the Nerstrand Charter School?
I hope you can listen at 9:30AM, but if not, remember you can watch the program anytime at www.youtube.com/user/KDHLRadio
