Faribault Police Station Lobby Back Open
The Faribault Police Station lobby is back open although it will be closed on Friday, July 3rd in observance of Independence Day. Faribault Police Chief Andy Bohlen encourages people to continue conducting business by phone and/or email due to COVID-19.
The Take It to the Box has been removed from the lobby to reduce the potential spread of the virus. Permits to Purchase are being accepted electronically also.
Faribault Police say you will receive either your permit or a denial letter in the mail.
Chief Bohlen also reminds us a Toward Zero Deaths speed enforcement continues through July 19th. Officers, deputies, troopers will all be watching for speeding and other unsafe driving behaviors.
Bohlen says, "Slow down, buckle up, put down the distractions, drive sober."
Some more COVID-19 resources are available from the following websites.
