Faribault Girls Hockey Out of Latest Rankings

The Faribault Falcon girls hockey team has been rated #20 in Class A twice this season and each time they were in the rankings they lost.  Last week they were #20 in Class A and then suffered their biggest loss in terms of deficit to the New Prague Trojans.  No shame in losing to that very good team but Let's Play Hockey still booted them from the rankings.  Faribault avenged an earlier season nail biting 5-4 loss at Mankato East by rolling over the Cougars 7-1 in their second meeting December 13th, but Mankato East is still ranked #18 with a 10-3-2 record.  Faribault is 11-4.

Warroad still sits atop the girls Class A rankings followed by Breck, Mound Westonka, Proctor/Hermantown and South St. Paul in the top five.  Rochester Lourdes is #7. In Class AA girls Edina is number one and the rest of the top five are Blake, Wayzata, Forest Lake and Andover.  Eagan is #12, Burnsville #17, Lakeville North #19 and Shakopee #20.

Class A boys still include Mankato East #12 and Northfield #19.  The only Big Nine teams to be rated.  Class AA boys feature Minnetonka at the top and the rest of the top five are Edina, Andover, Duluth East and Maple Grove.
