June has started off pretty warm, but the Faribault Aquatic Center wants to offer up a cool solution. The Faribault Family Aquatic Center is offering up free entrance to the pool this Wednesday, June 16 from noon to 8, with the hour before being a free toddler swim so they can enjoy themselves before the bigger kids come.

What if we told you we decided we're going to have a FREE DAY. ALL DAY. FOR EVERYONE!

Posted by Faribault Family Aquatic Center on Friday, June 11, 2021

The aquatic center posted the free day on social media on Friday of last week and it's been shared nearly 200 times.

On top of offering up the free day, this Wednesday, the pool has offered up some other fun with some free swims and then offering up movie nights to those in attendance. Also, there are some new amenities at the pool this year in Faribault. There is a fill and dump water station that is new and features a splashing fleur-de-lis cut out of metal. Also at the aquatic center, there are:

  • Two Large Flume Slides
  • Drop slide
  • One-meter diving board
  • Climbing walls

The Faribault Family Aquatic Center was built in 2002 and can be found within Faribault's North Alexander Park complex.

Coming up at the aquatic center on June 20th fathers get in for free with a paid child, mothers get in free on July 11th with a paid child, and grandparents will get in free on August 1st with a paid child admission.
