The Dodge County Diamondbacks and Hampton Cardinals won their respective Regions and get the opening weekend of the Class C State Amateur Baseball Tournament off.

The Cannon Falls Bears finished second in Region 4 and play Saturday, August 19, at 4PM in Norwood against Region 13 third qualifier Hadley. The third seed from Region 4C is Blue Earth.

The runner-up out of Region 5C is Rochester. The Roadrunners were the No. 8 seed in their region.

Blue Earth tangles with Region 8 runner-up Fort Ripley. The bracket doesn't say when Rochester plays Young America in Green Isle.

Dodge County was the No. 6 seed in Region 5C. The top seed Wanamingo Jacks did not win a game in the region after an impressive regular season.

The Class C Minnesota Amateur Baseball Tournament is being played in Hamburg, Green Isle and Norwood this year over the next three weekends.

The defending State Class C Champion Raymond Rockets begin defense of their title Sunday, August 20, at 1PM in Green Isle against Mora. Raymond is the third seed out of Region 11.
