Chris Stapleton’s Kids Walk the Red Carpet With Him at ‘Toy Story 4′ Premiere [Pictures]
Chris Stapleton's kids never appear on the star's social media pages or alongside him at events, but recently he broke the rule. Two of his older children with wife Morgane walked with their dad on the red carpet for the Toy Story 4 premiere last week.
That's Waylon and Ada alongside Stapleton, and there are plenty more pictures below that show that his son looks just like him, while daughter Ada favors mom Morgane. This pair are the eldest of five kids for the country couple. The Stapletons also have a set of twins (Macon and Samuel) born in 2018, and a newborn that arrived in May. The new baby's name has not been revealed yet — in fact, Stapleton rarely talks about or identifies his children. The two oldest kids' names were shared in an acceptance speech at the 2018 CMA Awards in Nashville last November. You're hard-pressed to find additional photos.
Stapleton's connection to the new Toy Story movie is through a Randy Newman-written song he recorded for the film, which opens nationwide on Friday (June 21). It's called "The Ballad of the Lonesome Cowboy" and it's a traditional country melody sweetly sung by the father of five.
“To me what has made the Toy Story films hold up over time has been the strength of the stories and the songs and the writing and the characters. There’s something for people of all ages to enjoy in the world that is Toy Story," Stapleton said when the song was released earlier this month. "It’s a tremendous honor to get to sing a Randy Newman song in what is without question one of the most iconic animated franchises in history.”
