Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - It looks like the sweet treat of low gasoline prices in Minnesota is over
After prices fell under a buck a gallon a few weeks ago, they are heading north.
As of Friday afternoon, GasBuddy was reporting the average price in Minnesota was $1.56 per gallon. That’s still 20 cents lower than a month ago and a dollar lower than at this time last year.
GasBuddy says the lowest prices are still being found in the Red Wing area at around $1.10 per gallon. Prices are back to around $2 a gallon in the Twin Cities.
Rochester’s prices have risen 20 cents a gallon the past few days to $1.55 a gallon.
