Faribault Bethlehem Academy senior Spencer Ell was chosen and honored Monday by the Minnesota Vikings as a Community Captain for his work on and off the football field.  Devine Mercy Catholic Church student Daniel Moyer nominated Ell.

The two got to tour US Bank Stadium and the Vikings locker room where they met some of the players.  Ell also received a $1,000 scholarship and had the chance to donate $1,000 to the charity of his choice.  He chose the Randy Shaver Cancer Research Foundation.

Spencer also received a Sleep Number Bed.  He was one of five teens honored across the state by the Minnesota Vikings.

Spencer will attend the December 8, 2019 Vikings game and be recognized at halftime.

Moyer is a first grade student at Devine Mercy Catholic School.
