Weekend Roundup For Faribault Area May 22-25

Hard to believe it, but it's Memorial Day weekend, and the unofficial start of summer! As always, there is plenty to do in the area!

• The early bird gets the worm, and this Saturday, the early bird can see the birds. The River Bend Nature Center is hosting Bird Fest from 8AM to noon. Find more information at rbnc.org
• A flea market, auction and tractor pull will be held at the Rice County Steam and Gas Show grounds. The event starts at 9AM, and there is no cost to attend.
•  Playoff action hits the Power 96 airwaves on Saturday afternoon as Cannon Falls challenges the Kasson-Mantorville baseball team, with pregame coverage starting at 12:15PM.
• Tune into KDHL to hear the Minnesota Twins play against the White Sox at 2:30PM.
• On Sunday, catch more baseball action when the Twins play Chicago at 12:30PM on KDHL.
• On Memorial Day, head to downtown Faribault for the Memorial Day Parade at 10AM. Following that will be a Memorial Day program at Central Park, with KDHL's Gordy Kosfeld serving as Master of Ceremonies.
