Last year the Paradise Center for the Arts hosted The Crown Jewels, a Queen tribute band and opening for them was Horizontal Hero. This year, Horizontal Hero came back to the Paradise Center for the Arts in downtown Faribault with their own name adorning the marquee. Saturday night music rang through the historic theater.

Horizontal Hero is based in the metro area and is a tribute band, performing music from some of your favorite classic rock bands. Their catalog includes songs originally by Deep Purple, Styx, Foreigner, Boston, Led Zeppelin, Journey and Bon Jovi. On Saturday, the band was entertaining the crowd, earning rounds of applause and whistles, and had numerous people out in front of the stage dancing. Appropriately, Horizontal Hero opened the evening's show with the Styx tune "Rockin' the Paradise," after which they thanked the Paradise Center for the Arts for having them and commented that they were so happy to be back playing in Faribault. It was a great night, filled with fantastic music and my advise is, if you get the chance to see Horizontal Hero perform in the future, don't miss out on seeing this fun and talented tribute band!
