It's finally officially spring and that means the usual spring cleaning chores like opening up the house and cleaning it from top to bottom, including washing the windows, organizing the store room in the basement or cleaning out the garage. Those last two things always leave you with a pile of items that are still usable but you just don't need them anymore. The question is what should you do with all those things you don't want to throw away? You could sell them at a garage sale or a flea market, or you could give them to one of the local donation centers. It works out great for both parties - you get rid of your unwanted usable clutter and they make money off selling that same merchandise. Usually a part of that profit goes on to help others who are less fortunate.

I usually donate my stuff to the Salvation Army at the Faribault West Mall, but there are several other places that accept donations around Faribault.
