One of the events of the Faribault Heritage Days Festival each year, is the free community lunch put on by the crew at Trinity Lutheran Church in Faribault. Based on what some people said as Mike Eiler from Power 96 and I were down there, they generally serve about 400-500 people! Now it's a simple menu: sloppy joes, potato chips, pickles, beans, beverage and many desserts to choose from. I don't know how they do it. They have people greeting you at the door, servers, people plating the delicious desserts, people to clean up. They make it look very easy and make it look like everything goes off without a hitch.

You are doing a great service. There maybe some people coming to this for whom this possibly is their best meal this week. Thank you Trinity Lutheran Church. By the way, don't forget to listen to the church service broadcasts Sunday mornings at 8. And if you like their broadcasts, consider making a donation to their radio fund.
