Heritage Days Happenings Highlighted on AM Minnesota 6-19-2015

Organizers of the 2015 Faribault Heritage Days will be stopping by the KDHL studios. The weekend is loaded with fun events geared for the entire family.

For example, Trinity Lutheran Church in Faribault is having a FREE lunch from 11AM to to 1PM. Of course it includes a slice of their famous pies for dessert.

The crafters will be in Central Park from 10AM to 10 PM today and tomorrow. The Kids' Chalk the Walk is from 1-3PM in Central Park for kids 5-16 with an adult. A Heritage Days button is required.

Bingo in Central Park is from 5-8PM this evening, with proceeds used to provide backpacks for kids and school supplies. Tonight's dance featuring Pop Rocks is from 8PM to midnight.

The Rice County Sportfishing Association sponsors the FREE Kid's Fishing Contest from 9-11AM at King Mill Dam on Saturday. You can see a complete listing of the events at www.faribaultheritagedays.com.

The Grand Parade is 6:15PM Saturday evening and starts at the Fairgrounds, then heads south to Central Park.
