Rice County Dairy Banquet Saturday Evening

The Rice County Dairy Banquet will be Saturday, March 25, in Lonsdale at the American Legion. Serving will begin at 7PM and the program will follow. Tickets are available from any Rice County American Dairy Association board member for $14. If you have not purchased a ticket I am sure you can do that at the door. The American Legion in Lonsdale has hosted the Rice County Dairy Banquet many times. They always prepare plenty of great food!

I was asked again this year to emcee the Rice County Dairy Banquet. I have the opportunity to introduce the Dairy Princess candidates, Dairy Maids and Dairy Ambassadors. A number of years ago the Dairy Maids and Dairy Ambassador program was added for the younger children. The Dairy Maids program is for younger girls and Dairy Ambassador for boys. It is great to get these younger children involved in promoting the dairy industry too!
