The Defeat of Jesse James Days festivities begin in earnest today in Northfield and continue through this Sunday. There are so many things going on including bank raid re-enactments, live music, a carnival, rodeos, craft show, soap box derby, car show, truck and antique tractor pull and the Grand Parade at 2PM Sunday.

If you like craft beers there's an event just for you being hosted by Amory Square Northfield called the Local Craft Beverage Festival. This event will give you the opportunity to check out the areas craft brewers, distiller and cider maker 3-8PM tomorrow and Friday, 11AM to 8PM Saturday and 11AM to 2PM Sunday, September 7 through September 10.
