New Gym, Same Result

The United South Central Rebels Volleyball team has a brand new gym to play in at their new facility in Wells.  Last night the Faribault Bethlehem Academy Cardinals had their way with the Rebels sweeping them 25-10, 25-14 and 25-8.  It made for a quick night. Our Faribault State Farm Agents Faribault players of the match were Shanna Matejcek, Lauren Mathews, Payton Nutter and Mary Campbell.  The Cardinals had double digit ace serves so there weren't a lot of contested points.  Head Coach Franz Boelter told us before the match his team wasn't focused in the first couple of sets earlier in the week at St. Michael Albertville where they lost in five sets and he wanted them focused in Wells.  Coach Boelter was very impressed with USC's new home and says there are still some areas that need to be cleaned up before playoff time.  We taped a segment with the Cardinal Head Coach for our Faribault Coaches show at Bashers Saturday.  The show begins at 10AM.  This adorns a the back wall of the Groskreutz Gym in Wells.
