The Goodhue County Fair in Zumbrota is rolling into the weekend with terrific weather in the forecast.  Friday is Senior Citizens day with the county's outstanding senior volunteer award winner announced during a program at 6pm.  The Grandstand show features Goodhue County's own Lost HIghway Friday night.  Saturday is kid's day with a demo derby being the grandstand entertainment.  Merriam's Midway carnival is open 1-11pm Friday and Saturday and 1-6 on Sunday.  Sunday the fair ends wth a free grandstand show of donkey baseball and mutton bustin'.  Jerry Groskreutz will enjoy breakfast at the fair in the Goodhue County Pork Producers building where I enjoyed a terrific day starter the last two days. He'll be broadcasting from 7-9 am Friday and Saturday and also have the 4-H Auction Saturday on KDHL.  The final AM Minnesota segment from the fair is Friday at 9:30am.
