Four Falcon wrestlers will participate in the Minnesota State Wrestling Tournament at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul beginning Friday.

Ryan Mullenex, a 160-pound senior, is ranked fourth in the state at his weight and is joined by 170-pound junior Isaac Van Thomme, 195-pound junior Felipe Ramirez and 285-pound senior Edwin Santiago.

Seven Owatonna Huskies are heading to state. Freshman Riley Becker at 113 pounds, sophomore Peyton Robb is ranked third at 120, freshman Cade King is at 132 and junior Tanner Cole is at 138. Cole is rated fourth by Guillotine. At 145 pounds, junior Bryce Goodwin participates, along with junior Griffin Thom at 182.

Top-ranked Brandon Moen qualified at 195, and if he and Ramirez win their first matches they will wrestle each other in the second round.

Northfield has two wrestlers qualified: eighth-grader Drew Woodley is ranked sixth at 106 pounds and senior Travis White at 152.

Farmington won the Section 1 Class 3A team championship and has six wrestlers qualifying individually: Freshman Trayton Anderson is ranked eighth at 106, senior Victor Gliva is rated No. 1 at 113, senior Jammin Leduc is ranked fifth at 132, junior Eric Heusborg is at 160, senior Taylor Venz is ranked second at 182 and senior Trevor Frost is 10th at 285.
