Now that we're finally all shoveled out from Monday's snowstorm, if you're looking for something to do, here's something you might want to try: the frozen trampoline!

Yes, here in Minnesota, we embrace winter, right? A little snow or cold (like the below-zero overnight temperatures we're going to experience the next few nights) doesn't scare us, does it? Heck, no! In fact, the cold and snow makes us do all sorts things... like freezing your trampoline.

Which is what this erstwhile Minnesotan did a few years ago. It's pretty easy to do. All you need is a trampoline. And some water. Okay, make that A LOT of water. But when you add those two together and toss in enough time for things to freeze (which shouldn't be a problem now that our high temperatures are only near 10 above the next few days), you, too, can experiment with the wonders of a... frozen trampoline!

As we all know, winters in Minnesota are cold, and many things can freeze up. But you don't often see a frozen trampoline, do you? This looks like it would rank right up there with fun things to do like popping the bubbles on a sheet of plastic bubble wrap.

Or maybe the fun involved in breaking off those long icicles that form on the edge of your house. The only not fun thing? When you get your RPU bill that shows how much water you used to freeze your trampoline...
