Waterville Is Celebrating It’s 57th Annual Bullhead Days This Weekend!
Coming off the busy weekend that consisted of Morristown's Dam Days and Smokin' in Steele, be sure to rest up for this weekend as there is another town celebration that is going to kick off Friday. This weekend will mark the 57th annual Waterville Bullhead Days celebration, and there will be live music Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, plus a kids fishing contest, fireworks, and a classic car roll-in.
Bullhead Days will start on Friday with the medallion hunt where the finder will get $150 in bullhead bucks. Also happening on Friday, a classic car roll-in starting at 3pm along Main Street, there will be Bingo from the Lions Club, near the bullhead stand from 6-9pm. Wrapping up the events Friday night there will be live music from the Power House Band from 8p-12a at the Community Patio, and fireworks being shot off at 10pm downtown over Post Office bay.
Saturday the fun continues as there will be an adults fishing tournament hosted by the Waterville Fire Department with weigh-in at 2pm, vendor far, remote car demo derby, a kids fishing contest, bean bag tourney, kids pedal pull, and a truck and tractor pull. Saturday night wraps up with your choice of music from Johnny Frost and the Heatseekers from 4-8p under the entertainment tent or an outdoor movie at 8:30p on the community patio.
Sunday the weekend begins to wrap up with the parade at 1pm, there is a different route this year as the parade will go down Main Street to Reed Street, rather than by the Post Office and bay area. After the parade, there is an art exhibit and kids bingo.
For the full lineup of events, you can head to the Bullhead Days Facebook page!
What makes where we live so fun, is all of the community festivals that help kick off summer, and bring people together.
