Twiehoff Gardens in Faribault Has Been Sold

It's official: Twiehoff Gardens and Nursery in Faribault has been sold. Twiehoff Gardens shared the announcement on their Facebook page last Wednesday the 3rd. Jim and Patricia Barta originally shared the news on their Remax Experts Facebook page, also on Wednesday the 3rd.

Please welcome the newest owners of Twiehoff Gardens and Nursery: Matt and Stefanie Thomas!

They made it official last Wednesday morning when they signed the final official paperwork, according to the Facebook post from Jim and Patricia Barta. They also write that Matt and Stefanie "have BIG, BIG things planned for the future" so it will be great to watch and see what they do with Twiehoff Gardens.

On the Twiehoff Gardens website, they say that "Twiehoff Gardens has been a community staple in Faribault, MN, since 1964." The dream began when Steve Twiehoff was 11-years-old and he decided to plant some pumpkins and sell them in his front yard. Now, in 2020, Steve is retiring and passing along Twiehoff Gardens to Matt and Stefanie.

Matt and Stefanie welcomed their very first customer last Wednesday morning too! Their first official customer was Maureen Storm, according to Jim and Patricia Barta's Facebook post.

We wish Steve well in his retirement and we also want to wish Matt and Stefanie well in their new endeavor as owners of Twiehoff Gardens!
