The TRI-City United Dairy Evaulation team placed 8th at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis. The team won the contest at the Minnesota State FFA Convention last spring and earned the right to compete at the National FFA Convention this fall. Forty-three states sent a team to compete in the two day contest. The TRI-City United Dairy Evaulation team included from left to right, Jack Saemrow, Rachel Rynda, Brittney Tiede, and Conrad McCrady.

There were a number of activities in the contest, including a general knowledge exam on the dairy industry, completion of questions related to a DHIA herd summery, several judging classes and several oral reason presentations. In addition the team was given a scenario of a dairy production operation and then presented to a panel of judges their insight and recommendations to improve the farming operation. Congratulations to the TRI City United Dairy Evaulation team on placing so well at the National FFA Convention!
