Last week I received an email from Thomas Steger NRCS District Conservationist at the Goodhue County Service Center that after "40 years 3 months and some odd days since I started I have made the decision to retire, effective the end of this year."  said Tom. "Friday January 3, 2020 will be my last day; there will be an open house if you care to stop by."

Tom added "the job tasks of training, facilitating, problem solving, mentoring, being a civil servant have brought me satisfaction over the years!" Thank you Tom for the decades of working with land owners helping them implement conservation practices on their farms.
