The Le Sueur County Pioneer Power Association recently announced that they WILL be having their spring Pioneer Power Swap Meet and Flea Market this year in Le Sueur. The announcement is welcome news for many as the event is another signifier that winter is over, and summer is right around the corner.

The Swap Meet and Flea Market will be held this year on April 23, 24, and 25th. The show has free admission daily from 6am to 5pm. There are a few differences this year as compared to years past. One of the differences this year for those attending the show is that there will be social distancing requirements as well as enforcing mask's being worn in accordance with Gov. Walz Emergency Orders.

The event is one that I look forward to each year. I like walking around and taking in the sights and sounds of the swap meet. You are pretty much guaranteed to see or spot something you either have been looking for or something you've never seen before.

Two years ago, my wife and I came home with some custom-built cabinets that we turned into some entertainment stands. We were also looking forward to last year's show before they canceled it.

If you are interested in heading out to the show, the event is held rain or shine, 6 miles East of Le Sueur at the junction of County Roads 26 and 33. Trust me you'll see it before you get to the site, as this is one of those events that brings in people from all around.
