The last 3 days I have been in downtown Minneapolis at the Convention Center. You can feel that something big is coming. This is a picture of a clock that was in one of the lobbies at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Specifically it is a clock counting down to the Super Bowl that is being hosted by Minnesota. I also noticed a number of banners and signs with directions up around the Convention Center and Hotels.

Apparently there are a lot of Super Bowl events that will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center and around downtown Minneapolis. It did occur to me that it might be fun to just go downtown to see what it was like to be at a Super Bowl event. I am sure there will be some activities that would be rather inexpensive that ordinary people could attend? Sure there will be lots of people and congestion but, this may be the last time the Super Bowl will be in Minnesota during my lifetime.
