The Blue Jackets Take Over The University of Minnesota St. Paul Campus

The 87th Minnesota State FFA Convention kicked off this afternoon at the University of Minnesota-St. Paul campus. The University of Minnesota-St. Paul campus has been hosting the State FFA Convention for a long time. In fact, when I was a freshman in high school, I attended the state convention at the St. Paul campus. In case you are wondering, that was in 1969! It was a big deal back then to go to the "Cities" and see the University of Minnesota.

This is the 87th Minnesota State FFA Convention and it has really changed since I was there as a member. It is much bigger today. In fact more than 3,600 FFA members will be there! I don't remember what the theme was when I was a member, but the theme this year is "Together We." I really enjoy going to the Minnesota State FFA Convention each year and interviewing area FFA members. Those interviews will be broadcast on KDHL and KRFO on Tuesday, April 26, starting about 5:30AM.
