State FFA Convention

The State FFA Convention begins Sunday afternoon and continues through Tuesday at the University of Minnesota St Paul Campus. More than 3,500 FFA members in blue jackets will be at the University of Minnesota St Paul Campus for the 90th Minnesota FFA Convention. The theme this year is Aspire To Be, Reach for the horizon.

FFA members from FFA Chapters across Minnesota will be competing in Career Development Events, (judging contests) attend sessions and workshops, and receive awards for their FFA achievements. FFA members at the convention will meet University of Minnesota students, faculty and professors who will be helping with the competitions, workshops and other activities.

I will be a the 90th State FFA Convention Sunday afternoon doing interviews with area FFA Members. In addition Paul Shea and I will be there all day Monday too. The interviews will be on KDHL throughout the day Tuesday. I hope you enjoy hearing about good kids doing good things!
