Teenager Killed in Byron Area Wreck
Byron, MN (KROC AM News) - A teenager from northeast Minnesota was killed in a traffic wreck near Byron Tuesday.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports 18-year-old Michael Hendrix of Beroun was a passenger in a car that was driven by a 16-year-old. The younger teen was taken to St Marys Hospital with unknown injuries. He has not been identified.
The State Patrol says the car was on County Road 3 and began crossing Highway 14 around 4:30 PM when it collided with a vehicle driven by 60-year-old Scott Gifford of Byron. He was also taken to St Marys with injuries described as non-life threatening.
