Friday night the 3-6 Cannon Falls Bombers went to Doge Center to face the 4-5 Triton Cobras. It looked like the Cobras were going to run away with it at first as they got off to a pretty good run. But then the Bombers started hitting shots and got to with in 3 at halftime 32-29.
Coach Don Henderson is in his final season at the helm of the Triton Cobras. I am sure he would love to get into the quarterfinals of the state tournament.
On a beautiful night at the Snake Pit in Dodge Center the Triton Cobras faced off against the Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars. And it is usually not a pretty picture when Cobras and Cats get together. And it was the final regular season home game for coach Don Henderson who is retiring after 28 years at Triton.
In addition to playing an important district and section football game Friday night, Triton's football players will walk with cancer survivors after the game and might learn a little about the sports history of the time before Triton High School existed.
It was a wild night in the Bombers' Hanger in Cannon Falls on Tuesday night as Cannon Falls defeated the Triton Cobras 71-62.
Cannon Falls had jumped out to a good lead helped out by some three-pointers from Dylan Dirkx, but then turnovers and cold shooting allowed the Cobras to catch up and it ended up 32-32 at the half...
