Minnesota, known as the "Land of 10,000 Lakes," actually boasts over 11,000 lakes, each with its own unique charm. Among these, some have names that bring to mind the festive spirit of the holiday season, adding an extra layer of enchantment to the state's natural beauty.
Our fair state may be known as the Land of 10,000 Lakes but not all of those lakes have the best water quality, and we now know the most polluted bodies of water here in Minnesota.
